Once upon a time in a not-very-magical kingdom not-so-very far away, my mother gave birth to me. Amidst the big hair, crazy eyeshadow, leg warmers, and Bangles music I came to be. That may explain a lot, actually. I had a quiet life, hate makeup (though I really could use some), had too many people close to me die. Now I study part time (and hey, what do you know? I think I finally figured out what I want to do! Okay, no, but I'm close!) and work part time in a job that sucks but isn't the worst I've ever done.
I'm a dork, love news and politics, watching mythbusters and shows on archaeology. I love discussing fannish things, one of my favourite ways to spend time is discussing feminism in Doctor Who over bubble tea.
Favourite shows/miniseries: Castle, Friday Night Lights, Doctor Who, The Mentalist.
Honourable Mentions: House, Chuck, Bones, Without a Trace, NCIS, The Office, My Name is Earl, Lost in Austen, other shows from the Whoniverse, Pride and Prejudice.
Favourite Movies: Love Actually, Bon Cop Bad Cop, Lost in Translation.
Honourable Mentions: Anything fluffy and the classics (I'm Katherine Hepburn's girl, I swear).
